Hello,
This is my A2 Media Blog that I documented my work on when making my film trailer, poster and magazine. I started my research and planning in June 2012 and I continued this throughout the production of my products which I began in November 2012.
I hope you enjoy looking through my blog, thank you :)

Evaluation: Q4. How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

BLOGGER
I documented my research and planning through this website.
When creating my products I posted my work's progress after each session I worked on them.
It was easy to use the blog when creating the trailer, poster and magazine to decide what I wanted to include in them.

iSHOWU
Used to record videos.
I did a January podcast showing what I had done so far throughout the year.
Also I used this programme for Q4 of my evaluation.
Used it in AS year so I was familiar with how it works.

GARAGE BAND
First time using this programme properly, it was hard to get used to but then became a lot easier to use.
Used to create sound for the trailer.

iMOVIE
As I was the editor, I used this programme the most throughout the process of making the trailer.
I found it very easy to use as you simply had to drag and drop clips into your project from the event.
Was used to edit the trailer.

iPHONE
As I have an iPhone it was easy to get social networking feedback and audience feedback through texting people photos of my poster and magazine.
I could also use blogger on my phone so I could make posts whenever I wanted to.

MICROSOFT EXCEL
Was used to create my publication plan.
It was easy to plan my time as you could highlight boxes on the dates we intended to do certain things.

PHOTOSHOP
Used in AS and during GCSE.
I became a lot more familiar with the tools, especially the photo editing.
Was used to create the poster and magazine.

THE INTERNET
Used a lot like in AS year to gather research for my blog and to aid me in creating my products.
I used sites such as YouTube, Word It Out, IMdb & Prezi.
