Over the christmas holidays I am going to take the pictures for my magazine and poster. I will also start my poster and magazine at home. The rest of my group plan to finish off the filming for the trailer so I can continue with editing after the holidays. I will continue to make posts through out the holidays for extra research and audience feedback.

After showing the rough cut of our trailer we received this feedback:
-We did not have time to produce the sound for the footage as we are having a voice over so this was our main area of improvement
- Some of the scenes were sped up to make the scene shorter as we felt that it was too long. It was very noticeable to some people so we will have to come up with another way to make it shorter.
-Some of the shot's were 'wonky' due to Alice not being used to the camera.
-People said that the locations and mis-en-scene were very good so hopefully this will be the same throughout.
-The positive feedback was that we had a good idea so we don't need to change any part of the plot.
-Everybody knew what type of genre it was so we have got this aspect of the trailer correct.
-People didn't understand why she was being stalked but as this is only the trailer we do not want to tell the audience the whole storyline. However, there may be hints to this in the new footage we will film.

Due to having a job I work all weekend and the person I want to take pictures of is also working at different times to me which made it difficult to have a photo shoot. We finish for the Christmas holidays at the end of the week so we will have more free time. I will get them done there and I will work on my poster and magazine through the holidays.

After taking in account the audience feedback from the rough cut I have continued editing the footage we have so far.

Research and Planning- Rough Cut Of Trailer

This is a rough cut of the trailer, it only contains the scenes that we have done so far. There is no sound except for the diegetic sound from when we were filming. The editing is also very rough as we need to include more shots in certain scenes, especially the first college scene.

Research and Planning: Trailer Brief Changed

After doing some filming me and my group have decided that we have limited ourselves with the sound aspect of our trailer. So we have decided that we are going to include a first person voice over through out the trailer. I think that this will create more tension therefore making the trailer alot more effective and scary- it will fit well with our genre.

Today at a group meeting we were thinking about names for a production company logo.

I thought up the name 'Fearful Films'
Paige thought up the name 'Decay Pictures'
Alice thought up the name 'Panic Pictures'

We will construct audience feedback through Facebook to come up with a final name.

Actor 1: I'm really excited for this weekend.
Actor 2: Me too, can't wait to see Jasmine, I haven't seen her since she left college.
Actor 3: Oh me neither, I hope she's okay.
Actor 4 (Jess) :Does anyone else feel like they're being watched?
Actor 5: Why would anyone want to watch you?
Actor (Jess): Okayyy

Research and Planning: Audition 4

This piece of acting seems quite forced, there wasn't much emotion. I think Tamsyn would suit a different role better, maybe one of the stalkers or a member of the victim's group of friends.

Rebecca didn't portray the role how we intend it to be however she does show very good acting potential which means that we would cast her for a different role or maybe audition her again and giver her clearer instructions on how to play the role how we want.

Research And Planning: Audition 2

We asked Dan to audition for the role of the stalker, he took on the role very well as we want the stalker to stay calm and collected as they will believe that they are doing nothing wrong. I would happily cast Dan in the trailer as he takes on the role very well and he is also tall which can come across as intimedating.
